The Department of Accounting and Finance of Democritus University of Thrace, based in Kavala, is a dynamically developing academic environment in which research and innovation are closely connected to the real needs of the economy. Through contemporary research projects, collaborations with businesses and public-sector organisations, and participation in international programmes, the Department makes a substantial contribution to the generation of new knowledge in areas such as accounting and finance, corporate governance, the digital economy, and digital transformation in education.
