Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) operates a unified central library as an independent and decentralised unit under the title Library and Information Centre of Democritus University of Thrace (LIC-DUTH). Each School has its own Library Unit, located either within or close to its premises.
Following their enrolment in the Department, students may register as members of the Library. Membership allows them to borrow books and access the Library’s electronic resources, including databases, electronic journals, e-books and the Institutional Repository. These resources are also available remotely through the University’s VPN using their institutional account.
