The facilities of the Department of Accounting and Finance can be divided into two main categories: rooms used for the theoretical teaching of courses, including lectures and practical exercises, and rooms used for the laboratory components of courses. All laboratory rooms are equipped with computers and specialised software, and attendance at laboratory sessions is mandatory.
7.1. Teaching Rooms
More specifically, the Department has six (6) teaching rooms, each with a capacity of 50–120 students. One of these is an amphitheatre-style lecture hall with a comparatively larger seating capacity. The teaching rooms are in daily use from 08:30 to 20:30.
To ensure easy access for persons with disabilities, the Department building is equipped with dedicated access ramps and handrails at the main entrance. In addition, an elevator provides unobstructed access to the first floor of the Library building.
7.2. Computer Laboratories and Equipment
The Department has six (6) computer laboratories, each accommodating 25–45 users and equipped with a projector and internet access.
